“Every flower blooms at its own pace.” ~ Suzy Kassem

I love the sentiment of this quote.

So often I’m pressuring myself to be in bloom all the time… every season. Not to have a fallow season or a time for rest. I take these times but I don’t really allow them. I’m practicing allowing the rest. Partially out of necessity and partially because it’s a lesson in front of me I wish to learn.

At times I feel that even when I’m displaying my most beautiful bloom it gets sprayed by pesticides, the feeling of an unwanted weed disrupting a well-manicured lawn. Perhaps that’s why the “weeds” blossom so freely in the gardens I tend. Sharing their beauty with me. Whether wanted or unwanted they have a purpose. That exact purpose might not be interpreted just now, but they (and I)(and you!) have purpose all the same, whether blooming or not.

we are all one.

One fully complete piece of one fully complete whole.

If you received a wild piece of original art paired with this quote you can find your piece of the whole in the photo below.
