release what you’ve been carrying

A 6-month circle for people ready to stop performing and start living.

join the circle

you've been putting yourself last

Waiting until everyone else is taken care of. Giving yourself the scraps of time at the end of the day—if there's anything left.

You've been holding it together. Carrying the weight of expectations, responsibilities, emotions that were never fully yours.

When you share with friends, they try to fix it. Therapy helps you understand it. But sometimes you just need space to release it.

This circle gives you permission to put it down.

where we start

This circle starts at 8am for a reason.

Not because it's convenient. Because it's not.

Because choosing 8am—before work, before everyone else's needs, before you've "earned" it—is an important practice.

One Thursday morning per month, you’ll gather in circle to release what’s weighing you down. Not at the end of the day when you're depleted. At the beginning. Because you matter first.

what happens

Each month, we meet for 90 minutes of embodied practices, creative exploration, and communal witnessing.

This isn't solo work. When we gather, something shifts. The combined energy of people releasing together creates a field that's bigger than any one of us. One person's breakthrough gives permission for another. Someone's tears unlock someone else's exhale. The group holds what's too heavy to carry alone.

You could journal by yourself. You could move alone in your living room. But there's an alchemy that happens when we do this together—a momentum you simply can’t access in isolation.

There’s no recording. No fixing. No performing. Just space to feel what's true in the moment and let it move through you—amplified by the energy of others doing the same.

You don't need creative talent. You don't need to have it figured out. You just need to show up and let the group energy do what it does.

You'll leave lighter. More spacious. Less alone.

Because you weren't alone. You were witnessed. Held. Part of something bigger.

And you'll carry that spaciousness—and the memory of being held—into the rest of your day, your week, your life.

this circle is for you if:

  • You're exhausted from holding it all together

  • You're ready to stop performing and start feeling

  • You want to be witnessed without being judged

  • You need space that isn't about fixing or analyzing

  • You know the power of community and want to release alongside others (not just alone)

  • You're willing to put yourself first—even when it's uncomfortable

this isn't for you if:

  • You're looking for advice or solutions

  • You need crisis support or clinical care

  • You're not ready to rearrange your morning to prioritize yourself

what you're really choosing

You're not just signing up for a circle.

You're choosing to release in community—not alone, not isolated, but held by others who get it.

You're choosing your well-being first—not last.

You're choosing Thursday mornings at 8am, which means you're choosing yourself over everything else that usually comes first.

And you're choosing to be part of a container where collective energy moves mountains.

That's the transformation.

The release happens because you're finally giving yourself the space—and because you're doing it alongside others who are brave enough to do the same.

your facilitator

Hey, I’m Wendy and I know what it's like to carry what isn't yours. To put yourself last. To wait for permission to take care of yourself.

Twenty years ago, I left IBM because I was performing to fit in and it burnt me out. I spent 15 years building THE REFINERY—a personal style coaching business—using all the "right" frameworks, only to realize I'd recreated the same unsustainable culture I'd tried to escape.

I crashed. And in that crash, I learned what real transformation requires: not just helping people fit in better, but creating space where they can remember who they are underneath the performance.

This circle is the space I wish I'd had.

My work is informed by 25 years of learning through living—presence, connection, and what it means to be human. I am a student of A Course in Miracles and "The Work" by Byron Katie. I believe you already hold all the answers you seek—my job is to create the space where you can hear them.

a note about organizations

If you're navigating a culture that rewards self-sacrifice and punishes boundaries, individual inner work is essential—AND the system needs to shift too.

I also work with organizations to examine what they've been rewarding and how to build cultures where people don't have to break themselves to belong.

 FAQs

  • Yes. Being witnessed does not mean talking. You could spend your time silently considering and be witnessed in that.

You may sit quietly for part of your time and find words arise in that silence that you feel drawn to share.

When given dedicated time and space for you alone, one never knows what will be inspired.

You may also consider a video call option or a smaller group if you need more energetic space.

  • What a gift to be triggered! Triggers show where you’re tender and exactly where creative processing can do its work. Allow that trigger to rise and move it through you with colour, shape, words, movement and sound.

This trigger may be showing you a deep wound so we can’t expect it to dissipate fully, but it may. Or it may dissipate in the moment to show itself later for more processing. Know that every bit of attention you offer it will help it heal.

If you ever need to leave and walk it off, that is another option. You are also welcome to fully leave the session at anytime if that’s what’s calling to you.

  • I encourage all participants to take care of themselves in each moment of these sessions. If you need to move around, do. If you need to leave, do. If you need to lie down, do.

With a combination of this kind of freedom and the creative processing intermingled the heaviness that can arise from a one hour therapy session for example, lifts.
